Hack Ack
Contest Information:
This lighthearted contest is focused on fun and spontaneity. Attendees will
learn of the guidelines the week before the conference. They will then have
until Tuesday evening to create something along the theme. Use of items
prepared prior to the competition is not allowed, unless these items are
available to everyone.
Everyone is encouraged to participate in this contest. Teams are equally good as
individuals. Even employees of Platte Canyon or
SumTotal Systems may participate, but they may only do so on an exhibition
basis (no awards or judging for them).
Judging is by audience applause and will occur immediately after all entries are
presented.
Hack Ack presentations will be interspersed with Karaoke/Rock Band performances
-- so showmanship may certainly rank high among the "judges."
How to Enter
Show up! There is no entry procedure. We will simply ask for anyone who wants
to present their Hack-Ack entry to sign up on a notepad at the beginning of the
Tuesday evening social.
Also, it will be up to each participant to arrange for a laptop to demo the
application on. We will have one or two machines if needed, but this should be
arranged ahead of time.
It's all about fun.

This was another great conference with a tremendous amount of useful information shared. It's always great to come and see old friends and acquaintances. Jeff, as always, did a fantastic job.

Those of us who have gained so much from this conference need to make sure that it doesn't become the best kept secret in e-Learning.

Thank you very much for hosting the ToolBook and VBTrain.Net conference - I had no idea how much I was truly missing by not attending. I'm so impressed by what I learned that I'll be sending other people from my office to attend as well - outstanding.

I just love the diversity of people here. It's amazing how we can all get along! It's not just about learning ToolBook, but also sharing ideas and experiences.
